Developed for The Center for Pursuit, their campus features mixed-use development concepts designed to bring the community to the campus and create inclusion. The master plan features a retail streetscape, two public plazas, and outdoor installations by renown local artists. Planned retail patios will activate the public-facing green space, while a repurposed rail car anchors the more interior plaza for programmatic and community events.
The Center for Pursuit provides services for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. After 50 years of operations at its former campus in Houston, the organization needed a new campus for the next several decades.
The site is served by light rail and was designed to efficiently accommodate Houston’s largest METRO Lift use.
